A research was conducted at the Harvard School of Public Health under a team led by Dr. Dariush Mozaaffarian and Dr. Frank Hu. This research’s core objective was to find out the changes in the people’s lifestyle that put them to have gradual and long term weight gain. This research was funded by the National Institute of Diabetes, Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), National Cancer Institute (NCI) and National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI).
