Passive Smoking Can Cause hear loss In Teens

Abstract:
According to new research second hand smokers are at the risk of losing their sense of hearing.



objective:
In recent health article it was revealed that there is list of  adverse effects of passive smoking such as risk of hear loss  but along with this 1ow birth weight, behavioral problems, respiratory tract infections are also their. The rate of hear loss range from 3.86% for bilateral high frequency hear loss & 9.55 % for unilateral low frequency hear loss.
Design:
It is proposed that in children hearing loss interrupt speech and language development, cognitive process, progress in school, and their social activities.
Setting or Place:
National Health and nutritional examination Survey (NHANES) in 2005-2006 gathered the data from 1,533 non-smokers of age 12-19 who undergo audio metric test. participants also had their serum continin level measured.
Participants:
Non-smokers of 12-19 years of age.
Results:
It was revealed from the data that more than half of children of united stats are at the risk of hearing loss as they are passive smokers.
Conclusion:
Smoking is a curse keep yourself and your friends away from this.
